Pitchcombe Village Hall Committee is celebrating the award of restart grants from Stroud District Council and Virgin O2.  UkeStroud were on hand to make a song and dance about it.

We were very lucky to be just one of 400 community-based charities around the UK to be awarded a £1,000 Virgin O2 grant through their #VMO2TogetherFund (which supports charities to use digital technology in the delivery of their projects or activities) for community projects which champion and celebrate community spirit, belonging and togetherness.  The funds will be used towards installing new A/V equipment as part of reopening plans.  A village gathering and BBQ is planned, once restrictions allow.

#VMO2TogetherFund #ThankYouDay @VMO2News

And as part of the national Thank You day events today, we would also like to thank all residents of Pitchcombe that have worked one way or another to keep us going through the last year, whether as a midwife, bus driver, doctor, shop worker, vaccine volunteer, good neighbour and so many more, it is hard to remember them all.  Thank You!
